GAA Pitch Dimensions
The field of play for Gaelic Games is rectangular and its dimensions are as follows:
- Length - 130m minimum to 145m maximum
- Width - 80m minimum to 90m maximum
At distances of 13m, 20m, 45m (football) and 65m (hurling), lines are marked parallel to the end lines. The intersection of these lines and the end lines with the sidelines are marked with flags.
The midline of the field is marked parallel to the end lines and has a maximum length of 10m
(Note: the dimensions may be reduced by local bye-laws for U15 or younger grades).
Goalmouth and Scoring Space
The scoring space is marked in the centre of each end line by two goalposts 6.5m apart, with a height of not less than 7m above ground level. A cross bar is fixed to the goal posts at a height of 2.5m above the ground (Note: goalpost dimensions may be reduced by local bye-laws for U15 or younger grades).
Two rectangles of the following dimensions are formed in front of each set of goalposts.
A) Small Rectangle
14m long by 4.5m wide. The distance from the inside of each goalpost to the beginning of each line of width is 3.75m
B) Large Rectangle
19m long by 13m wide. The distance from the inside of each goalpost to the beginning of each line of width is 6.25m
Semi Circle Arc
A semi circle arc of 13m radius, centred on the mid-spot of the 20m line, is marked outside of each 20m line

Extreme Paint White
Only a few left!
Extreme is a particularly versatile paint as it is designed to be used through any spray or wheel-to-wheel marker. It needs to be mixed thoroughly with water at ratios of up to 7:1.
When mixed use either a yellow (020) or green (015) flat fan nozzle. Avoid using nozzles like the blue (030) which put too much liquid on the grass.
Clubline Paint Blue
Clubline Coloured Pitch Marking Paint is ideal for marking out Small Sided Games (SSG) Pitches onto Pitches where White Lines are already applied.
Primarily used for marking out 5/7/9 a Side Pitches on 11 a Side Football Pitches.
These Colours will produce bright Lines that are easily distinguishable from the White lines.
Clubline offers excellent adhesion to the grass, giving you a very bright line with good coverage. This is the perfect concentrate paint for weekly marking and is very cost effective.
10 Litres of Paint per container.
Transfer Wheel Paint White
Only a few left!
Transfer is a simple and cost-effective line marking paint, designed to be used neat through any traditional transfer line marker. We use extra thickeners to make Transfer easy to stick to the wheel and apply.
Ready to pour into the machine before marking, it is the perfect paint for clubs with wheel-to-wheel marker and limited time. It can also be diluted up to 1:1 if required, which can be useful in the warmer months when cutting regularly.
Popular with amateur sports clubs, this paint still provides the groundsman with highly satisfactory results. Our research has shown that a large number of grassroots clubs purchase emulsion paint from hardware stores such as B&Q. Transfer is competitively priced and we guarantee that it will last longer on your pitch than emulsion.

Hybrid Spray Line Marker
Hybrid is a premium line marker designed with and for sports turf professionals, and is perfect for use on stadium and high level pitches. This is the Line Marking Machine of choice at Croke Park GAA Stadium in Dublin. Advanced patent-pending technology on the highly-engineered front wheel, combined with the proven spray system gives perfect results on the pitch. The Hybrid offers the benefits of both a transfer wheel marker and a spray marker.
The problems with transfer markers is that they only tend to coat the tips of the leaf, and in order to cover more of the leaf to get the required result, it is double marked. This can also result in a ‘trenching’ effect due to the continuous heavy weight of the front roller, coupled with the loss of grass coverage due to overdosing of paint. The end result is the paint becomes so thick on the leaf it takes much longer to dry.
The three-wheeled spray design for ease of use, especially on intersecting lines where a conventional four-wheeled machine requires awkward manoeuvring over wet lines. The Hybrid feels like a transfer marker: well weighted and perfectly balanced. With a range of nozzles to suit the user, you never use too much paint while still being able to walk slowly.
This Machine is only available with one of our discounted Paint bundles (See below).
